Company information
Company profile
Phychem Technologies Limited is engaged in the manufacturing of rotational molding compounds used as key raw materials for producing hollow plastic products. The company manufactures customized polyethylene-based compounds using materials such as LLDPE, HDPE, and specialty additives, offering products in various grades including foam, stone-effect, flame-retardant, anti-static, and custom-colored compounds. It also manufactures custom-molded tanks and provides services such as rotolining and toll pulverizing. The company serves industries including construction, water management, agriculture, automotive, and consumer goods, while also distributing specialty imported products such as paints, coatings, polypropylene compounds, and plastic processing equipment. With a manufacturing facility in Nashik, Maharashtra, along with in-house laboratory and quality control capabilities, Phychem Technologies focuses on product quality, customization, and serving both domestic and international markets.
Strengths
- Diversified Product Portfolio: The company offers a wide range of rotational molding compounds for industries such as construction, agriculture, automotive, water management and consumer goods.
- Strong & Diversified Customer Base: The company has built long-term relationships with customers in India and overseas. Its diverse customer base and export presence help support recurring business and reduce dependence on one market.
- Integrated Manufacturing & Quality Infrastructure: The company has an in-house manufacturing facility with modern machinery, laboratory facilities and quality control systems, enabling consistent quality, customized products and efficient production.
Risk factors
- Dependence on a Single Manufacturing Facility: The company relies on its manufacturing facility in Nashik. Any disruption caused by equipment failure, operational issues, labour problems or shutdowns could affect production and financial performance.
- Customer Concentration Risk: A significant share of revenue comes from a few major customers, and there are no long-term supply agreements. Losing a key customer or receiving fewer orders could negatively affect revenue and profitability.
- Dependence on Limited Raw Material Suppliers: The company depends on a small number of suppliers for key raw materials, with its largest supplier contributing more than half of total purchases. Supply disruptions, higher raw material costs or quality issues could affect operations and financial performance.
