Company information
Company profile
Incorporated in 1974, Jindal Supreme (India) Ltd is engaged in manufacturing and supplying steel pipes, tubes, and related products used across infrastructure and industrial applications. Its product portfolio includes MS black pipes, galvanized pipes, tubes, metal beam crash barriers, and GI tubular poles, catering to sectors such as water supply, construction, roads and highways, oil & gas, agriculture, and rural electrification. The company generates revenue mainly from the sale of these steel products and has steadily expanded its dealer network from 30 dealers in FY23 to 53 dealers as of December 2025, reflecting growing market reach. Its manufacturing facility in Hisar, Haryana, is equipped with essential machinery like uncoilers, shear and cutting machines, and coil accumulators for efficient production. As of June 30, 2025, the company had a workforce of 231 employees.
Strengths
- Diversified Product Portfolio: The company manufactures steel pipes, tubes, crash barriers and GI poles for various infrastructure and industrial applications. This wide product range helps reduce dependence on a single product category.
- Backward Integration: Jindal Supreme has in-house capabilities for key manufacturing processes and raw material preparation, giving it better control over production and quality.
- Strong Technology & Manufacturing Capabilities: The company’s manufacturing facility is equipped with specialised machinery for handling and preparing raw materials, supporting efficient production and consistent product quality.
Risk factors
- Single Manufacturing Location: The company’s manufacturing operations are concentrated at one facility in Hisar, Haryana. Any breakdown, shutdown or disruption at this facility could significantly affect production and financial performance.
- High Working Capital Requirements: The company needs significant working capital to support its day-to-day operations and business growth. Any shortage of funds could affect its operations and financial performance.
- Raw Material Price Volatility: The company is exposed to changes in the prices of key raw materials such as Mild Steel Coils, MS Hot-Rolled Coil and galvanizing materials. A significant increase in prices could raise production costs and reduce profitability.
