When and how to check IPO allotment status online?
Tracking the timeline from IPO closing to share allotment, mandate unblocking, demat credit, and exchange listing ensures you never miss your application outcome. Learn how to verify allotment using PAN.
What is IPO allotment status?
IPO allotment status is the official verification confirming whether shares have been allocated to your demat account based on the registrar's basis of allotment. You can check the outcome using your PAN number or Application Number.
Who releases the IPO allotment results?
The appointed Registrar and Transfer Agent (such as Link Intime, KFin Technologies, Bigshare Services, or Maashitla Securities) finalizes the allotment in consultation with the stock exchange and publishes results on their portal.
When is IPO allotment finalized after issue closes?
Under the T+3 listing framework, IPO allotment is finalized within 1 to 2 business days following the issue close date. If bidding concludes on Wednesday, allotment is finalized by Thursday evening or Friday morning.
Why does my allotment say 'Not Available' or 'Record Not Found'?
Registrars upload allotment data in batches. Until the registrar officially publishes the final database, searching will return 'Record Not Found'. Ensure you selected the correct company name and verified your 10-digit PAN.
How do refund unblocking and demat share credit work?
If you receive shares, the blocked funds are debited via ASBA and shares are credited to your Demat account (CDSL/NSDL) on the day before listing. If not allotted, the bank releases the UPI mandate lien automatically within 24 to 48 hours.
